Our Mining Trips |
| On Saturday April 21st, 2012 we were lucky enough to be allowed to attend a dig for Pyrite Cubes at Standard Mineral, RT Vanderbilt Company located in Glendon, North Carolina. This dig was remarkable and in one day we mined nearly 300 pounds of Pyrite cubes in their natural matrix! We would like to extend a very big thank you to the company for allowing us to attend this dig! | ||
 We started at 8 AM sharp picking out a spot to start our digging. |

Keep an eye out in our online store where we will have this material available for sale by the piece very soon! We are also purchasing ore from this mine by the 18 ton dump truck load which we will be offering completely unsearched (native dirt) to our customers. It comes from the ground, picked up by track hoe, then put into the dump truck and delivered to Fantasia's Virginia rock yard. This native dirt is then shoveled into 5 gallon buckets which can be ordered online or sifted at our water flume. Since it is completely unsearched material it may contain any of the materials that come from this specific mine including pyrite cubes, quartz, and fluorite all in their natural matrix! |
